B-day bash

What do you do @ that awkward moment when you greet someone as you come in, but they insist on "sidehugging" you as you're stepping past? It was a little embarrassing for a moment there, but I don't know whether it was more for me or for him.

It was a b-day dinner party and there were a few more laughs thrown into the mix than usual, so that made it all in all a good night.
Since I've sort of changed up my diet, I didn't expect much when it came to the main course, but my chicken substitute was actually fantastic!

Bonus points for kick ass boots!

Off to Uni

Got my favorite scarf with me and covered from head to toe, off to uni.

Since the winter's winding down into spring, all I need is my head-wrap and I'm all set for head gear. It has been an icy mess for a week now so it looks like the bus might be option #1 today!

Gina Tricot

Snagged a cute skirt from Gina Tricot on sale for peanuts!
Gave me a classy pencil-skirt look that I never knew knitting could achieve.

Carry yourself as you want to be perceived. It also helps to dress yourself a certain way as well as carrying yourself with poise. Quite the contrast to how I got down the night before.

It's great to change it up sometimes!

Reggae Night

Hiya, all!
Went to the sickest club outing in a while. The music and the dancefloor ramped up when we switched DJs. His name's Mark and he is a Stockholmer who has never been to JA but commands the crowd and hypes them up like a true island pro.
It's winter so of course I had to get cozy in an H&M faux fur jacket. I danced my butt off, and like any good time, by the end of the night, my legs ached and my voice was gone. I only had one drink, Red Bull and Smooth Vodka. I don't drink that often, but it still tasted like juice, so I don't know if I got ripped off or not, but I had a blast with my Jamaican friend Monique. I definitely showed the Swedes how to REALLY get down to dancehall that night.
